ASO and ASA are two instruments from Apple that we can use to improve iOS app visibility in the App Store:

ASO (App Store Optimization)

a process of optimizing app’s meta data to improve its visibility for relevant keywords and users.

ASA (Apple Search Ads)

an ad auction from Apple. It has variety of instruments, but the main one is Search Ads.

Below you will find a step by step instructions to optimize your app’s visibility with these two instruments

Before jumping into AppStore Connect or Search Ads website we need to have data we are going to put there.

To make sure metadata would bring the most visibility for you effort/money you need to select the most relevant and searched keywords. To find the best keywords for your app you need get app store marketing & intelligence platform. They have variety of instruments to optimize your keyboard selection.

📈 — Metrics to monitor:

We have successfully setup our instruments, but we are yet to figure out if our setup is any good. To verify it we need to know what key metrics to track and optimize for.
